Our story

Group travel, done well, is one of the most rewarding and lowest-impact ways to see the world.

WanderMe was founded in 2026 out of that simple realization. We set out to give travelers who care about their footprint an easier way to find trips that genuinely live up to it, with the sustainability homework already done and the best operators already vetted.

We're a travel curator and agency, not a tour operator. Here's exactly what that means for you.

We vet, so you don't dig

We work with world-class operators like Intrepid, G Adventures and Exoticca, and hand-pick trips that pass our bar for adventure, group chemistry and sustainability. Every trip carries a Wander Score™ so you can see its impact at a glance.

You book through us at no extra cost

You pay the same price as booking direct. The operator pays us a commission for bringing them great travelers. That's how we keep the lights on. We book through our host agency, Fora Travel, which provides our IATA accreditation, so every reservation is fully accredited. No markups and no booking fees on group trips, no fine-print surprises. (Our custom design service is the one exception, a premium build that may carry a fee, always quoted upfront.)

Same price, more backup. You get our curation, honest advice on which trip actually fits you, team-tested Wander Verified picks, and a dedicated team in your corner before, during and after travel. The operator pays our commission; you never pay extra.
Enquire on any trip and we confirm live availability and pricing with the operator as soon as possible. You secure your spot with a deposit, then pay the balance closer to departure, usually via the operator's secure payment link. Due dates and links all live in your WanderMe portal.
It varies by trip and every listing spells it out. As a rule: accommodation, internal transport, a local leader and listed activities are in. International flights, travel insurance, most meals and optional activities are extra. Insurance is required on all trips, see our insurance offerings.
Yes, we strongly recommend it for every trip, and it's required for group travel and expedition cruises. We partner with Faye, a TIME Best Invention of 2025, for whole-trip digital coverage, and we'll help you find the right plan for your trip. Cancellation terms follow the operator's policy, which we share clearly before you pay anything. Generally: the further out you cancel, the more you get back. We'll always help you explore date changes first. They're usually friendlier than cancelling.
Usually not. Most trips offer twin-share at no supplement. You'll room with another solo traveler of the same gender. Want your own room? Most trips offer a solo-room upgrade for a fee.
World-class operators we've vetted, including Intrepid, G Adventures and Exoticca. Every trip page credits its operator, and every trip carries a Wander Score so you can weigh its sustainability before you book. We book whatever you choose; we just make sure you choose informed.
Your trip has a local leader 24/7, and WanderMe stays one message away on top of that, right in your traveler portal chat. Flight chaos, lost passport panic, "can I extend my trip?" We've handled it all.
Booking a group trip through us is free, you pay the operator's price with no booking fee. Our custom service is different: designing a one-of-a-kind itinerary from scratch is hands-on work, so it may carry a design fee. We always quote it upfront, before any work begins. See how custom works →
